An upcoming pirate action-adventure Sea of Thieves finally got a release date. The developers from Rare have removed the veil of secrecy, enveloping the future co-op action title. The game will become available on the 30th of March 2018.
The release confirmation came with the new trailer the developers presented at The Game Awards. Once again we dived into the crazy, cartoonish and gloomy pirate world of Sea of Thieves. The game has everything one can expect from a great pirate game: treasure hunting, cannonball flights, tavern brawls and battles with the undead.
For those who are still unfamiliar with the game, let me remind you that the Sea of Thieves is a cross-platform co-op title that allows players to put on the greasy leather cloak of a pirate. Just bring some friends and you are ready to go on a quest for treasure and glory. You will not be alone in your travels; it will not be a hard task to find a crew of the same desperate sea wolves.
Sea of Thieves is a certain must-have for everyone who missed the good old Sid Meyer’s Pirates. The die-hard co-op fans would not be disappointed either. Creators from Rare promise us deep player interaction and tons of content to explore.
If you cannot wait to rob the enemy galleons or drink away the money taken by dishonest work in local taverns, you can pre-order the game on the Sea of Thieves’ official website.
