Elder Scrolls Online Dragon Bones DLC Introduces Two New Dungeons Next Month

Love fighting dragons in Skyrim but wish you could do it together with friends? Well, there’s no word on a multiplayer mod for TES V, but you’ll be able to team up with your buddies and battle some more giant scaly beasts next month in The Elder Scrolls Online. Bethesda recently announced a new DLC pack for the MMORPG and, you guessed it, it features dragons. Suitably entitled Dragon Bones, the latest DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online is scheduled to launch next month along with some additional new content courtesy of Update 17.

Dragon Bones brings to the table two brand new dungeons known as Scalecaller Peak and Fang Lair. Bethesda didn’t reveal too many details about them, but it sounds like Elder Scrolls Online players can expect to encounter a lot of necromancers and their undead minions, including a skeletal dragon. Needless to say, ESO players can also expect to receive a plethora of new loot after completing the new dungeons. But even if you’re not into dungeons, make sure to at least try one of the new ones out because everyone who sets foot in either Scalecaller Peak or Fang Lair will receive a free Renegade Dragon Priest Mask. Scalecaller Peak and Fang Lair will be available in normal and veteran difficulties.

Also next month, The Elder Scrolls Online is getting even more content thanks to Update 17. While Dragon Bones introduces two new dungeons, Update 17 comes with a couple of new maps for the 4v4v4 Battlegrounds PvP mode. In addition, the updates also introduces a level up advisor tool, home storage, and the Outfit System to the base game. The latter is similar to the transmogrification system found in World of Warcraft in that it allows you to change the appearance of your gear.

Bethesda also mentioned that Elder Scrolls Online will benefit from improved combat mechanics once Update 17 rolls in. There aren’t a whole lot of specific details to go by at this time, however, the full patch notes will become available soon on the PTS forums. If you’re not much into reading don’t worry because both Dragon Bones and Update 17 will launch on the Public Test Servers sometime next week.

The Dragon Bones DLC will be available to all Elder Scrolls Online Plus members and can also be purchased separately from the in-game Crown Store. Meanwhile, Update 17 will be free for all ESO players.
